The Project
Though this zine was updated for a class project, I had made a one page version of it previously to attempt to spread information on the topic of GenAI, and why it could be harmful. As an artist, I am very affected by GenAI and its continued growth as a technology, but I feel as if many people are unaware of the downsides to this new tech. This is likely because tech companies are pushing it so hard, and are not giving consumers the full story. This zine is my attempt to get the average person a little bit closer to that full story, and while I’m not an expert on the technology itself, I do see how it is affecting my community and the world as a whole.
Images are not best quality to prevent theft by AI scraping. Ordered paper zines will be full quality.
These zines measure about half a U.S. Letter sized piece of paper. They feature watercolor illustrations on each page, with 16 pages (including the covers) in each zine. Points covered include:

All art included was painted traditionally and is my original work. I do not give permission for AI to scrape my images for training.
